Oscars Fashion vs. Indianapolis Fashion
I am so excited to sit and watch the 2013 Oscar red carpet parade. I often use ideas from these gowns in my own special occasion pieces. I can’t wait to get back to my drawing board after seeing these beautiful designs and wonderful fabrics. I think peplums, and full sequin sheath dresses are trending very strong . Erin Young goes to the Inauguration
I was happy to have one of my custom dresses worn by one of my clients at the Presidential Inaugural Ball. I made the fitted jacket with red Chanel boucle wool and the black skirt was made of 100% silk matka. These fabrics were special finds for a special occasion. The day before the dress left for it’s presidential destination, it was featured on the news Indianapolis’ WISH TV Channel 8’s Friday Fashion Fix Segment.
